Included

Good night all.

Pets play a big part in some families lives.  The ones we have now and the ones that have passed on before these have left huge pawprints on our hearts.  My daily prayers always include a 'Thank you for keeping Tiger, Tux and Jack happy, healthy and safe.'  Our pets are loved, spoiled and taken care of by us so we must also express our gratitude for them being placed in our lives.
Proverbs 12;10  ''The righteous care for the needs of their animals, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel.''
Whether you are an animal lover or not, we are commanded in this verse to treat animals with kindness and gentleness.

  1. God has blessed us with a number of pets over the years and we thank Him for each one of them. They are very special to us. Thank you, Lord. I did not know we were commanded to treat animals with kindness and gentleness. Dad

  2. I love this! We often forget that just because an animal or pet is not human, they do not deserve special care. That's wrong, and when I consider what a loyal friend our dogs have been, I realize how appropriate God's command is. (Well, obviously, all God's commands are appropriate! :0)

  3. Good blog. I used to not understand how someone could be so upset over the loss of a pet --that was before we had pets of our own. I have now grieved over the loss of a loving, loyal pet. They are wonderful gifts God has given us and bring a lot of joy to our lives without expecting much in return. I didn't realize this was in the Bible, either. Mom
