Bring on the Heat

funny animal pictures

Are you ready for it?  The weather forecast for tonight's low is 52.  I say 'aghh' while others say 'ahh'.  That's okay, I'm prepared as I leave my electric blanket on my bed year-round.  Yes, and my electric heaters will come out of hiding soon enough for my showers.
I believe in being prepared for what I know is to come.  Are you prepared not just for winter with a stockpile of firewood, but more importantly... are you prepared to meet your Maker?  'Every knee shall bow before Him.'  Our lives in eternity will be to truly hail the One who deserves all the glory.
Phillipians 2;9-11 ''Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.''  All in creation is subject and under the authority of Jesus.  Romans 14;11-12  '' It is written:  ‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.’ So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.''  If that sounds scary to you, then I suggest you start getting prepared.  Not defensively, but with the blessed assurance of being saved by grace thru Jesus Christ.

  1. Bring on the heat, Angie! What a good reminder to all that eternity is waiting. The heat of hell is not a good option.

  2. We know it's closer today than it was yesterday. But we tend to focus on everything except this.

  3. I am a planner...an organizer...and you know what they say, "The best laid plans, etc., etc." But the plan of salvation is one that cannot/will not go awry. So thankful I have made that choice (when I was 12 years old) and know in Whom I have believed. I know not what the future holds (in this old world), but I do know Who holds the future (here and in the hereafter)! So thankful He is My Protector and Provider....in Him do I give my trust. Love you, T.
