Lost Sheep

Jedi Craft Girl: Day #7 The Lost Sheep

Today I finished a book I've been reading, 'A Peep Behind the Scenes'.  The theme of the book is based on the parable of the lost sheep in the Bible.  Luke 15; 3-7  ''Then Jesus told them this parable: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?  And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.''
Are you a lost sheep or have you been found by the Good Shepherd?  We have all been distracted by the 'artificial' green grass of the world but our Father is always seeking to pull us into His flock and care.  Oh what a privilege to be the one He sought and saved.
We lose things all the time and our grief can in no way compare to God's desire to find us.  There are two kinds of sheep, the lost and the found, which are you?

  1. I heard someone share this morning how Jesus found him, came looking for him when he was clueless. So neat - testimony this morning and then your blog.

  2. That wonderful little book is so full of the Truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ, that He has come to seek and to save that which was lost. What a Savior we have! Oh, that many would read your blog, open their hearts to His Word, and come to know Him.
