Faith

'Yes, I know Who holds tomorrow and I know Who holds my hand.'  If we knew what tomorrow would bring, would we change it?  It is better to leave that in God's hands and just trust that He knows best.  'If He brings you to it, then He'll bring you through it.'
Sin separated man from God in the Garden of Eden.  Thankfully, Jesus is our bridge that fills that gap for believers.  Faith is our bridge to our future.  We cannot foresee it but we can prepare for it.
Faith doesn't make things easy but makes them possible.  'Faith is taking the first step, when you can't see the whole staircase.' Our faith is revealed by how we trust in what we cannot see.  2 Corinthians 5;7 ''We walk by faith, not by sight.''
Is fear controlling your tomorrows or has faith set you free?

  2. My Jesus Calling this morning told me, in so many words, that Jesus would help me through this day...that I could try to make it on my own by grumbling or groaning my way through it....or that He would be there to make blessings out of my trials. If I could only remember that! I had just groaned about have to clean up Harley's throw-up during the night, and then realized what a tiny little trial that was...and yet I still groaned!! So thankful I can focus on Him to be with me through it all. Love you, T.

  3. "Faith doesn't make things easy but makes them possible." What a great quote. We are all so weak and frail, forgetting that: "God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are" 1 Cor 1:28 Everything is impossible for us...but He is able to make things possible that we could never imagine. I often limit Him by looking at myself, and my circumstances instead of realizing he has given me everything I need for life and godliness. Thanks Angie!

  4. Hmmm, good thoughts. I love to think that I can control situations, but I know the truth. So glad I can rest in the fact that He has it all in control and His way is perfect!
