Grace
As I read this caption, I think 'I wish I may, I wish I might but it is so often not my plight.' Oh to be full of grace is such a lofty goal that reminds me of how short I fall. Can I really maintain grace in all four areas at once?
A mind of grace can help control our thoughts. Do we consider the journey of someone else before we judge them? Do we think WWJD...what would Jesus do.. in all situations? Is ours a world view or Christ view to life's questions? Think about it.
A heart of grace loves unconditionally. Do you show love to others without any expectations in return? You can't love God and harbor resentment for your neighbor. 'Love one another' is a command, not an option.
A voice of grace encourages others. What we say can be as sweet as honey or as sour as vinegar so we should taste our words before we let them out.
A hand of grace always helps others up and never pushes them down. Even if your hands can't do much like mine, they still can find a way to help others in some way. We are given two hands, one to help ourselves and one to help others.
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound..... in our minds, hearts, voices and hands. May we orchestrate them all in ourselves to please the Lord.

I think it was the preacher Vance Havner who said that. And God has granted it to us, enabling us to show it to others. What a wonderful Savior!
Angie, I am a friend of Grace Mayo. We worked together for years. She was sharing your blogs with me and then I got on your list directly. I just wanted to tell you how very much each of your blogs mean to me. I look forward to reading them every day.
ReplyDeleteYou are an amazing woman with a gift for writing and sharing your heart. Your love for the Lord is so sweet. Just had to let you know how you have blessed my heart. Thank you Angie and may God bless you richly. Praying for you!

Another wonderful blog with great instructions and insight. Very convicting too--I'm afraid I fall short in all areas--God's grace is sufficient for me and everyone who calls on Him. Mom
