Way Back Wednesday... To the Veterans

This is me at about 12 on one of the submarines in Mobile, AL.  Was this the foretelling of me being a Navy wife one day?  Nah, we were in the Navy Air division, no ships.
Today is the 4th of July so I want to salute all the service men and women from the past and present with this post.  Freedom is never free, just like everything else.  The military service calls for not only your ability and strength but often time away from loved ones.  As indebted citizens, we owe our veterans a heartfelt thank you and helping hand when needed.
'Freedom does not give us the right to do as we please but to do what pleases God,' from odb.org.  Those who have ultimately sacrificed all for us to live freely on a daily basis surely wouldn't want us to take that freedom for granted.  People all over the world are fighting for the kind of freedom that we have here in the U.S.  We are blessed to live in such a country as America.  We are also blessed to have a voluntary supplied military of men and women to defend us as a nation.
Go out and thank a veteran today.
