Risky Business
Are you a risk taker? In some ways it can be a good thing as long as you're not also careless. You can be too reserved and miss out on the thrill and excitement of life. One of my favorite things to do when I was young was to ride roller coasters. Up and down, all around, even upside down. I had to give them up for the most part when I had back surgery so right before it, my parents took me to the Opryland amusement park to ride everything till my heart was content. Loved it. They had the new kind with the track overhead and your seat was like a bucket below it. This one swung you out over the lake..woosh. I still ride some rides now, I just have to be more selective.
We must be discerning tho on the risks of life that we choose to engage in. Just like this elephant, we often put our lives on the edge for a peanut. It sounds silly until you think about it and then you realize how true it is. I won't give examples on what ways that you might be having risky business with, but you know those areas.
The worst risk of all is waiting for the right day to surrender your life to the Lord. Don't risk it, it's eternally worth it.

Good points, well said and cute example. Exactly right about the eternal risk.

Girl, you are a braver soul than I am! I hate roller coasters. The only time I will go on one is when one of the children wants to go and there is no one else to go with them. About the riskiest one I like is Fire in the Hole in Branson. I pray that there is someone who will read your post and heed the warning to avoid the risk of waiting to surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ, and yes, it's worth the leap of faith.
