How thrilled do I look to be doing laundry? This is me around 1994 in our apartment in Naperville, IL. I did more housework than shopping back then because it was usually too cold to venture out and we had limited funds.
Friends of mine are going to Dallas this weekend for a no-kids, all girl weekend of shopping. How fun is that going to be for them! I don't have a picture of me shopping but I can guarantee you my smile would be more evident in it than in this picture..ha.
Sure housework must be done but there is a high probability that it will still be there when you get back from shopping. So go have fun, chores can wait.
