secure in the storm
what is real security? psalm 1 n 2
blessed is the man--blessing is opposite of perishing
what the blessed man rejects--doesnt walk, sit or stand w/the ungodly, conform, company with..doesn't become shaped by cultural thinking..doesn't fit in
what the blessed an enjoys--law of the lord/gospel..scripture contolled life..
what the blessed man expects--fruitful, secure, durable, produce fruits of spirit..deep rooted..prospers-optimism, intended effect
what the wicked should expect-- easily blown, insecure, vulnerable,
who is the man of psalm 1--jesus..delighted in law, meditated, prospered
what do we do with psalm 1--w/o christ, law is nothing to us, grace works in you, matthew 7, sermon on mount
wise man--put words of god into practice
fool--rejected gods word
storms come..affect us but not destroy us
real security..being united w/christ
