What's It About?

God's purpose. Eph. 2:10 "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them." We are here to glorify Him in everything we do, it's not about me-it's all about Him...

Ephesians 2;10  ''For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.''

When we humble ourselves, we realize that the world does not revolve around us.  We are just a piece of the puzzle in God's plan.  We are here to fulfill His plans for us first.  The order of importance in our lives should be God first, Others second, and Myself last.
Our 'good works' are a result of the salvation He prepared for us.  With a Christ-like attitude, we begin to think of how we can help others and share God's love.  There are no coincidences, but God appointed opportunities.
When you think about today's events, did you embrace an opportunity for God to use you or did you close the door to someone?  'Take my life and let it be consecrated all to Thee.'

  1. I love that: There are no coincidences, but God appointed opportunities. May have closed a door today but will remember this tomorrow....

  2. Nice reminder Angie. Have you ever heard the acronym JOY....Jesus first, Others second, Yourself last? Thought you might like it if you haven't. Have a blessed day! Jana S.

  3. Interesting...just this morning I had an encounter with a gentleman who had lost his wife 2 months ago. He was still grieving, and I assured him, after getting his name, that I would be praying for him. He chokingly thanked me. If anyone would like to pray with me for this man, his name is Leonard. God uses the little things, and I pray that this little thing will cause him to seek the Lord in his grief.
