Hang In There

"He will sustain you. He will never let the righteous fall." - Psalm 55:22

Do you ever feel like you're just hanging on by a thread?  If one more thing shakes your world, you're gona lose it?  That my friend is relying on your own strength.  As one who has lost so much physical strength, I know and trust that I am not here by my own strength alone.  Our own strength and abilities are actually an illusion because any of us could be taken at any point in time.
I say this to remind us all Who is in control and sustains us.  Sustain does not mean free from trials or hardship.  Sustain means to strengthen and support us physically and mentally.  He will be with us and help us through whatever His plans include for our lives.  'The righteous will not be left in the fallen position, He will vindicate us in the end.'
When I think about persecuted Christians and how they endure all the atrocities in their life, I think of this verse above.  ''Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.''

  1. Thank you for your great example of His strength made perfect in weakness. Funny, I never think of you as weak in any way. I feel much of the time that you are like the ones who held up Moses' arms during the battle of Ai. I know that others feel the same way. How grateful I am to God for sending you into the lives of so many!

  2. As my Jesus Calling stated yesterday, He is always working on our behalf. And then from today...."Every detail of your life is under My control. Moreover, everything fits into a pattern for good, to those who love Me and are called according to My design and purpose. No matter what our physical abilities, we are still weak and He is still strong. The most able-bodied athlete cannot hold a candle to the power of Jesus. So thankful that we have Him to hold us up and see us through. Much love, sweet friend....T.
