It's a God Thing

Well if you're reading this then that means you woke up today and that's 'a God thing'.  There are many people in this world who did not.  You have been given another day of life.  Did you give thanks for that today?  Are you rejoicing and glad for it?

From odb.org.....

Today God gives you a new opportunity to praise Him. Psalm 118:24 says, “This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”

Today God provides for you and wants your trust. “Give us day by day our daily bread” (Luke 11:3).

Today God wants to speak to you through His Word. The believers at Berea “searched the Scriptures daily” (Acts 17:11).

Today God desires to renew your inner person. “The inward man is being renewed day by day” (2 Cor. 4:16).

May the Lord direct your path today and you faithfully follow His leading.  God does lead His dear children along.. 'some thru the waters, some thru the flood, some thru the fire but all thru the Blood.'

  2. A mutual friend (thanks, Herbert) always begins his prayer with, "Thank you, Lord, for another day of life." The goodness of God in giving us undeserving sinners not only life but eternal life, as we give ourselves fully to Him through the Lord Jesus Christ, is overwhelming.

  3. At this age, I am thankful every day for another day of life. I love your last sentence, too. It reminds me of Proverbs 3:5-6..."Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths" whether it be through the waters, through the flood, or through the fire...but as you said, Angie....all through the Blood. Hope you have a beautiful and BLESSED day! Love you, T.
