Tired

Tired

Who hasn't said this?  I think I've said it my whole life.  Sometimes we just feel drained and need a little more time in the refueling station.  Have you ever felt that you've...talked your head off, worked your tail off, cried your eyes out, walked your legs off, or sang your heart out?  Then you feel there's nothing left of you.
We are not all on the same clock or journey.  It is our job to encourage people in their walk with the Lord, but they must be ready.  We can't force people when they just keep hitting the snooze to life's alarm of their eternal destiny.
Rest in the peace of the Lord but don't waste your days in slumber.  Romans 13; 11-12  'And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.'

  2. Great words Angie....So true that we don't want to push the snooze button. This applies to me even as a Christian. When I give into my fatigue too much and try to give up, I find I feel even more tired spiritually. Funny how that works. Praying He continues to supply you with His energy!

    Love,

    Mary

  5. What a comfort and peace to know when you think the end is at hand that you just leave it in God's hands. I know when the tornado came through about 3 years ago and it was just me and God here at the house. I heard the sound like a hugh vacuum cleaner and things hitting the side of the house and I thought "well maybe it's my time to go" but amazingly I really wasn't in a panic or frightened--I just prayed for the Lord's protection if it wasn't my time. 6. The older you get, the more tired you become....usually. But I would truly never want to go back to my days of youth. Oh sure, I reflect on my childhood and appreciate all it meant to me, but I would NOT want to return to it. What a comfort to know that we are also getting closer to the end....or really to the beginning. Many times when this world is in such turmoil...like this week....I pray "come quickly, Lord Jesus". I am ready when He is ready. Love you, T.
