Waiting It Out

Waiting quote via www.IamPoopsie.com

Good grief, I hate this.  I'm having to keep Tiger confined for her own good and it just about kills me.  I hear her moan and cry as to say 'this isn't fair.'  Now I have her on a chux beside me in bed and its  a little easier to bear.
We are confined to this world for a while and we cry too at the unfairness.  It's comforting to know that God is beside us and looking out for our best interests.
I'm not good at waiting on the healing process for me, but especially not for a loved one.

  1. Patience is given as needed, some is given for a loved animal and a greater amount is given for a child. Trust me on this one. Dad

  2. You have a glimpse of how hard it is for a parent to see their child suffer---and the only way through it and keep your sanity (at least as I see it) is to lean on His everlasting arms and promises. Mom

  3. Thanks, Angie. I needed this today. God has a way of giving us what we need when we need it. By, the way, don't you think that little girl looks a bit like Maggie from the side view?

  4. Makes me think of Romans 8, how even nature groans under the curse. But better days are coming.

  5. I so agree with all of the above. And I do believe God gives us that patience (and grace!) when we need it, and not before. We just need to receive it and KNOW that He is in control. I hope your baby is doing better by now. Watching our loved ones suffer (even our loved furry family members) is always harder than being sick ourselves...especially our children and grandchildren. We nurturers just want to fix it....NOW! But God allows us to "wait on Him and renew our strength". What a great God we serve! And, yes, Gloria...I do think that beautiful little girl in the picture above does look a lot like your adorable Maggie Mae!! Love you, dear Angie....T.
