23rd Psalm

                               What a wonderful way to express God's care over us in every way.  The Bible is our source for guidance in this life.  Psalm 23 is probably the best known psalm because it is so comforting to our souls.  When we break the psalm down into an application for our lives, we can see God's hand over every part of our life.  Now that's LOVE.

Daily Prayer

                       We all have our doubts, but knowing that His thoughts and ways are way beyond what we could even imagine give us hope, trust and perseverance.  God had a plan for each one of us, even before we were born.  Our job is to fulfill that plan with His direction over our lives.
                        We all need guidance, whether young or old.  I think the quote above is a good daily prayer to the only One who knows what tomorrow will bring.  ''Jesus, hold my hand.  I need Thee every hour.''

A Choice

                               It is a choice we all make in our lives, in both fleeting moments and as a lifestyle.  What have you decided on?  Vengeance is mine, says The Lord.  Our sin nature in the flesh wants to retaliate when we feel wronged but the Holy Spirit should guide us in our words and actions.
                               We should use our bodies to be a light to the world and not to reveal more darkness.  Gentleness is a fruit of the spirit that is in strong demand and short supply in our world today.

                   Since my voice isn't strong enough to talk to all that I'd like to, I want my life's example to speak the volumes I cannot.  My happiness comes by being saved by grace and forgiven by His mercy.  I will one day tell the story of how I've overcome the struggles of this life and understand it better by and by.  I want my life to be as active as possible and to show that doing things a lil different is better than sitting on the sidelines.  ''I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.''
