Be the Beggar That Shares
Several people have told me that my blog posts encourage them spiritually. I think this caption says it well because I'm not doing anything that any other believer couldn't do. We all have our own way to share the Daily Bread with others and that is fine, as long as we do it. We are not just to hear the Word but to be doers of the Word. Jesus said in Mark 16;15 ''Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.'' Even in our everyday lives here in suburbia, we are missionaries in the field.
The lost are not hard to find and they are hungry and thirsty. We should feel the same guilt in not sharing the Gospel with others, as we do when we eat and drink in front of someone without anything. Share what you have, both seen and unseen.
Yes, the harvest is plenty but the workers are few. I beg you to be the beggar that shares the Bread with those around you.

You are great at sharing, keep up the good work, we are encouraged by your strength. Dad
ReplyDeleteThe other day when Charity took back some books to the library, she noticed a note in the envelope that holds the date card. Curiously, she opened it, and Emma had written John 3:16 and a note and put it in the space. Now, if my 12 year old granddaughter can be a witness so can I. Thanks for the encouragement.
ReplyDeleteAmen.

My girls favorite question to ask kids they meet at swimming is where they go to church. That opens the door for them to talk about more spiritual things. L told one girl that hell was real and was encouraging her to pray and read her Bible. They are setting a good example for their momma to follow.
ReplyDeleteGreat post, Angie...and a great encouragement from the responders. Wonderful examples of how to spread the Daily Bread. We never know when a seed is being planted. Love you, T.
