Prize
Are you searching for the prize of life? I'm like the raccoon and want to see what I've won before messing with the carmel popcorn. Well unlike this raccoon, we have to finish the box of life before we get our reward. The Bible helps us have an idea of what is ahead.
Our relationship with Christ is our continuous prize. Every day is a new gift that we get with unexpected rewards. Do we see each day, as a box with a desired prize or a bummer, throwaway box?
Our journey through the box of life will come to an end one day. Will you have enjoyed it all or will there be a few kernels left unpopped? Share everything that you've been blessed with.. food, clothing, shelter and most importantly, the Good News.

This is just sweet... Yes, stepped on my toes a bit but how could anyone not love this message? Somedays I feel like I get lost in the box of life... Nice to be reminded that there is a prize at the end...:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a GREAT analogy, Angie. This pic reminds me of when I was a kid (not the pic of the raccoon!) and loved to get a box of cracker jacks so I could see what prize I had in store! I love God's surprises that He sends us every day....along the way....so evident of His love and care for us. I hope I will always treasure them and give Him the praise and glory He so deserves. I also hope I don't leave any kernels unpopped at the end of my journey. Have a BLESSED Sunday....love you, Twylia
ReplyDeleteCute pic, and good reminder. Thanks Angie!
