What a wonderful poem about who we really should want to be and be seen as. It's about humility, service, and aspirations. We are here to fulfill God's agenda in our lives. What do you see in the mirror? Who is getting the glory in your life.. you or God?
A person's prayer life can reflect whether one is self-centered or God-centered. God first, others second, myself last is the rightful order in which we should think.
'Glorify Yourself through me, Lord' is how we surrender all. 'Amazing love so divine.. demands my life, my soul, my all.'
This reminds me that "the only Bible some people may read is the life of someone else", we should make it worth reading. We are here on earth for a short while to glorify God, we should make it worth while. Love you ..Dad
ReplyDeleteThe only really good thing that I can say as I look in my mirror anymore is that it is a reminder of who I am and who God is--my Sustainer as I grow old and the One who can enable me to finish strong. Thank you for printing that WONDERFUL poem.
ReplyDeleteYou are a beautiful reflection of God's love!
