The Bigger Picture
Crash, Boom, Bam.... is that how your day felt? Sometimes life does feel like the school of hard knocks, doesn't it? 'At the end of the day, you can focus on what's tearing you apart or what's holding you together.' As humans, we are so self-centered and we think the world is consistently revolving around us. I think this caption is a good reminder of how vast God's creation plan is. We should be humbled that we are part of that plan and that He loves us enough to care about our little problems.
Romans 1;20 ''For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.''
If we look to the world for answers, we will be disappointed. If we look to ourselves for answers, we will be depressed. If we look above and to Scripture, we will be impressed and find all we need.
He who hung the stars, also created and put you here.... is there any better Hands to be in and place your burdens in? No, not one.
Love the frog's response! It's so good that at the end of the day, no matter how good or bad, His approval is all that matters: and because of Christ, we are approved of! Love you,

You word things so well. And that is exactly what I want to share with others about God's love, but I never know how to say it. Thank you.

Well I saw a sign today that told me why you love frogs so much.."Fully Relying On God" FROG.. That's You. Love you DAD
ReplyDeleteLove the frog....makes me think that when all else fails, roll over and look UP! Actually, that should be our FIRST step, and not when all else fails. Sadly, though, many times we try so hard to be self-sufficient that God is our last resort. Praying to have Him continually at the forefront so that nothing else takes His place. Love you, T.
ReplyDeleteBeen going through these truths with the girls each morning. So good to be reminded that the One who put the stars in place knows our every need and hears our every prayer.
