It's a God Thing
Yes, this is Tiger peeking around my laptop screen. She is the sweetest cat and loves to be near me. It was about a year ago when she got so sick with a blood clot and fell down the stairs. There were so many times people would ask me, 'is she going to get better?' I trusted she would even when the progress seemed so slow. She went from not being able to walk to the litter box, to barely walking with great effort and then to one day unbelievably jumping on my bed to be beside me. We have a lot in common including our daily meds twice a day, our spunk and our inner fight to live in spite of our disabilities.
When she had her yearly checkup in April, the vet said she was doing well and that most cats don't survive a blood clot. 'It's a God thing' that I've had her with me this past year and hopefully many more to come.
What a sweet companion she is. So glad she's doing well!
ReplyDeleteI'm so thankful for Tiger. A faithful pet is a wonderful thing. So glad she is still around.
ReplyDeleteThis is so true! Tiger has the sweetest personality of the two cats--she even got along well with the dog when we first got it. Yes, she loves being near Angie, she lays on the bed beside her much of the time. I wondered too it she was ever going to get better but now she gets around pretty good and when she wants to avoid flea treatment she can move real fast to hide. I thought giving her the heart medicine was going to be a real problem but now we just smash it into little pieces and mix it with her food and she eats it right up. Mom
ReplyDeleteShe's also famous! I have a picture of her on my cell phone, which puts her in a rather exclusive group :)
ReplyDeleteI, who as you know am not the cat lover, am so happy for your Tiger. I know how much she means to you...so thankful God healed her and gave the two of you more time together. Our pets are so special and we become so endeared to them. I know she is a lot of company to you and a sweet furry friend to have around. Love you, T.
