Problems
How true is this caption? I think it hits home with how we often deal with the problems we face. We feed the problem, we point blame for our problems and we replay them in our minds like a broken record. Often our last resort is turning to God when we realize we are empty handed in our ability to fix anything.
'Struggles are required in order to survive in life, because in order to stand up in life, you have to know what falling down is like.' We are meant to learn from our trials. God gave us the gift of memory to help us not repeat bad decisions but also to remember His faithfulness through those difficult times. 'Problems are not stop signs but are guidelines to a better future.'
God wants us to 'Come to Him, all ye who are weary and burdened, He will give you rest.'
WE've had more than the ordinary share of problems crop up this week - none serious but cumulative counts :) I ought to have the picture above and the blog pasted (not posted - pasted) on my fridge. But for now, posted will have to do...
ReplyDeleteIt is said that difficulties either make us or break us. I only pray that as they come, which they do more and more as we get older, that they will make us. And that they will make us more sensitive to the problems of others. Good post, Angie.
ReplyDeleteYour blog means so much to me. I love you, Angie

I love today's Jesus Calling....well, I love them all....but today's fits your blog perfectly. "Many problems vanish instantly in the Light of My Love, because you realize you are not alone. Other problems may remain, but they become secondary to knowing Me and rejoicing in the relationship I so freely offer you. Each moment you can choose to practice My Presence or to practice the presence of problems." How neat is that? We only need to make the choice. Love you, my friend....T.
