It's a God Thing

I wanted to follow-up last week's blog about switching to my mask air machine with a little more on how it has helped me.  'It's a God thing' that I am able to use my machine in the car, shopping in Canton, concerts, etc.  It allows me to enjoy events without even thinking about being short of breath, like most of you. The portability of it allows me a much broader range to venture out. I can save my energy for what I want to do, rather than use it all up getting there.  It refuels my oxygen level and gives me more energy.  It's a comforting thought to know it is near by when I need a boost.  It's kind of like when football players use oxygen on the sidelines to recharge for the next play, but mine is just regular air not oxygen.
It is also like Jesus always being near to us but we have to turn to Him.  He can also refuel us, comfort us and give us strength to carry on.

  1. There is only a few of us who realize just how much different and wonderful this new machine is. The old machine weighed about 60 lbs. and if she went on cruise or plane it had to be packed in a hugh storage box. Also the jacket, Angie had to wear to use the machine was terrible--it would take 10-15 min. just to get it on and adjusted. Also her old machine had no battery backup. The new machine weights probably 3lbs, has a 7 hr. battery backup and doesn't require Angie to wear any jacket--the difference is like night and day. We are SO thankful for the new machine. Mom

  3. I am so thankful for God's hand of design and ingenuity which He grants to men, even men who do not know Him, in order to make life easier for humanity. I am especially grateful for His blessing of comfort for your life, Angie. You are a blessing to me, and I thank God for you. You have been a tremendous role model for me. When I start to feel sorry for myself in some little way, I think of you and your strength through trials. It helps me to get back into proper perspective.

  4. So thankful for your new machine and the freedom it has given you. God is so good to provide us with what we need, in order that we might continue to glorify Him and bless others. So thankful that I am one of those on the receiving end of those blessings! Love you, T.
