Changes
We are all a work in progress. Are you being tranformed into something better? I think this caption gives good examples of how time and pressure can be of huge benefit. We often think of everyday pressures as strife and yet they are useful to our spiritual and personal growth. We also tend to just associate time with getting older but it should also bring wisdom.
For those of us with a few more miles, aren't you glad you're not the same as at age 20? I guess that's where the phrase 'I wish I knew then, what I know now' comes from.
How gritty as sand and dirty as coal are we without His love and discipline to change our image into one like His?
Romans 12:2 ''Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.''
2 Corinthians 3:18 ''And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.''
So true!
