And i will share it with my kids.<br />susan f.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4933377277043468860.post-54539008169542180112013-09-10T09:16:56.504-05:002013-09-10T09:16:56.504-05:00As has been said, "I have never seen a funera...As has been said, "I have never seen a funeral hearse pulling a U-Haul"....and we never will. This life shall pass away....behold, all things will be new...and it won't be any of our earthly possessions, will it? I call my "collectibles" treasures, but they surely are not. They are merely "junk". My everlasting treasures are stored up in heaven, and one day I will see what those treasures truly are! Looking forward to that day. Thank you, Angie, for a convicting and, as Gloria states, thought-provoking post. Love you, T.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4933377277043468860.post-61356626555286072582013-09-10T05:40:36.798-05:002013-09-10T05:40:36.798-05:00It is amazing, isn't it, how we cling to this ...It is amazing, isn't it, how we cling to this world and its possessions. Hebrews 13 tells us that, "Here we have no lasting city, but seek the city that is to come." And in chapter 11 we are told that we are strangers and exiles on the earth. Why, then, do we hold on so tight? I don't think we truly understand what we are going to have versus what we are trying so hard to keep. I know Sat. at a memorial for someone I knew who died, the preacher pointed out that John 3:16 did not say "shall not die" but said "shall not perish" meaning we will have an eternal life for those who believe in Him.
