More To Me
I recently watched a video with a Great Dane and a Chihuahua puppy playing together. The size difference was huge, but their hearts were on the same playful level. As humans, we often discriminate on many different levels, including size.
As one who has been the same size since junior high, I've been underestimated many times. I've been given the kid's menu or even worse is to be passed over for no menu at all. I do speak up for myself, but it may be thru someone else's more authoritative voice or a written response.
'Don't judge a book by it's cover' is the common cliche, but we're all guilty in some way. We miss out on opportunities when our preconceived ideas take over before the truth is revealed in real discovery.
James 2;4 ''have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?''
God sent His Son to save the world, not just those just like you or those you think deserving. God sees everyone as a sinner and in need of a Savior. Aren't we grateful that God sees past our obvious appearance that will wither away and cares more about our heart and soul?
